For us, it started out due to not wanting to pay hundreds of dollars for Big Brand Name stuff. Enter the world of "doing it yourself". It didn't take long to learn that a little knowledge was a dangerous thing; to realise that to truly build a great set of clubs, you needed more than just a flat surface and some epoxy. So the education began.
Eventually the shop was pieced together, bit by bit, grabbing up essential tools along the way. Learning about technologies like MOI matching, True Length Technology™ length increments, the importance of swingweighting, and why finding the Flat Line Oscillation plane of a shaft plays a role in fine tuning a set. Other things we're keeping on top of is the developing practice of shaft bend profiles and how it applies to a golfers’ swing.
